Candidate Larry Sharpe visiting the sites of alleged corruption in the Cuomo administration Monday

NEW YORK, New York, February 16, 2018 – New York Gubernatorial candidate Larry Sharpe (L), will be visiting two sites linked to the bribery and corruption trial of one of Governor Cuomo’s closest aides, marking the beginning of the Cuomo’s Legacy Tour. On Monday, February 19th, at 3 p.m., he will be joined by advisors and supporters at NexGen Power Systems, a Maryland-based energy company allegedly shaken-down by the administration for campaign contributions, and then the group will visit the Syracuse Film Hub.

“To fight this kind of corruption, for Pay to Play to end, the Play part needs to end,” says Sharpe, a Marine Corps veteran and New York native. “As long as policy makers wield large power over lucrative contracts, licensing, and other opportunities, there will be people with an interest to either influence them or replace them with someone who can.”
